Social media exposes Pawan Kalyan’s double standards

Pawan Kalyan’s speech at the Jana Sena Party’s 12th Formation Day on Friday set social media abuzz. Lasting nearly 90 minutes, his address went viral, with NDA supporters hailing him as a leader with clarity and vision. Even his brother, megastar Chiranjeevi, took to X.com to express his admiration for the speech.

During his address, Pawan Kalyan took a sharp jab at Tamil Nadu’s DMK party for opposing Hindi and the New Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Modi government.

“Some in Tamil Nadu say Hindi should not be imposed on them. Then why dub Tamil films into Hindi and release them in North India? You want business from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh but oppose Hindi?” he questioned.

This statement quickly gained traction among BJP supporters and North Indian audiences, making it a trending topic on X.com and Facebook.

However, critics were quick to expose his contradictions. Old speeches and tweets resurfaced, revealing instances where Pawan Kalyan himself had urged North Indian leaders not to impose Hindi. This apparent flip-flop on language policy is just one example of his shifting stance.

His ideological swings have been noticed before. Once a self-proclaimed follower of Che Guevara and leftist ideals, he now positions himself as a champion of Sanatana Dharma. In 2014, he declared he was fasting in protest after Telangana’s formation; today, he praises the state, calling it his rebirth place.

Opponents argue that this pattern of contradictory statements defines Pawan Kalyan, further solidifying his reputation for political inconsistency.
