The makers of ‘NBK108’, directed by Anil Ravipudi, have finally zeroed in on Sonakshi Sinha to play the female lead. After considering Huma Qureshi and Trisha, the makers felt Sonakshi Sinha would be the ideal to play opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Our sources say, Sonakshi has almost agreed to do the role. But she is yet to sign on the dotted line. So, the makers are waiting for official confirmation before announcing her name.
In the past, Sonakshi Sinha also agreed to sign Balakrishna’s film but she backed off at the last minute due to some controversy.
As per the script, the actress should look like a 30-plus woman. Hence, the makers approached the 35-year-old Sonakshi. The film will begin its regular shoot next month.
Sonakshi Sinha was recently seen in the Bollywood movie, Double XL.
