Recent reports suggesting a delay in the release of “Spirit” have been put to rest. Speculation had emerged that the makers were planning to reschedule the film due to two key reasons: alleged production delays caused by Prabhas’ commitments to other projects like “Fauji” and the sequel to “Kalki,” and a potential box office clash with Salman Khan and Nayanthara starrer directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
However, the team has now officially clarified that there is no change in the release schedule. “Spirit” will hit theaters on March 5, 2027, as originally announced.
The film is significant as it marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It is also Prabhas’s 25th film, adding to the project’s importance. Tripti Dimri plays the female lead.
Produced by Bhadrakali Pictures and T-Series, the film features an ensemble cast including Vivek Oberoi and Kanchana. The background score is composed by Harsha Vardhan Rameshwar.
