Following the massive success of her item number in “Pushpa 2,” which went viral across North India, Sreeleela has become a sensation in Hindi-speaking regions. The song not only boosted her pan-India appeal but also opened doors in Bollywood in a big way.
She has already completed a Hindi film, where she plays the main heroine opposite Kartik Aaryan in “Aashiqui 3.” The film will release shortly. Even before its release, she is receiving more offers in Bollywood, and there is speculation that she now prefers Hindi films over Telugu. For this reason, she reportedly walked out of Akhil Akkineni’s “Lenin.”
Interestingly, she is also demanding a huge paycheck in Bollywood.
Her screen presence and dance moves have left Bollywood producers impressed, and they are willing to pay.
In Telugu cinema, she charges Rs 2.5 crore per film. She reportedly received Rs 3 crore for the item song in “Pushpa 2.”
Sources say she’s now quoting Rs 6 crore per film in Bollywood, reflecting her growing demand and rising confidence as a lead actress on the national stage. This is almost double her Telugu film remuneration.
