Actors Ram Pothineni and Meenakshi Chaudhary joined hands for the ‘Say No to Drugs’ campaign, promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Ram Pothineni delivered an inspiring speech at the Telangana Government’s International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026 event. Speaking about the dangers of substance abuse, he recalled how the life of one of his friends was ruined due to drug addiction while working abroad.
The actor urged citizens to actively support law enforcement agencies by sharing information related to drug consumption and trafficking.
“Help us by helping them. Let’s make our state drug-free and our country drug-free,” Ram said, calling for collective responsibility in tackling the menace.
Meenakshi Chaudhary also made her presence felt at the event and extended her support to the anti-drug awareness initiative.
On the work front, Ram Pothineni is currently busy with a film that he is directing himself, marking his debut as a filmmaker. Meenakshi Chaudhary, meanwhile, is working alongside Naga Chaitanya in “Vrushakarma”.
