Straight fight confirmed: Gang Leader Vs Valmiki

With yesterday’s announcement by Nani and director Harish Shankar’s subsequent tweet, it is confirmed that their films are going to clash. There will be a direct fight at the box-office between Nani’s ‘Gang Leader’ and Varun Tej’s ‘Valmiki’.
 
Varun Tej starrer Harish Shankar directed ‘Valmiki’ had already announced that it would hit the screens on September 13. Now Nani has moved his ‘Gang Leader’ to the same date: September 13. As Prabhas’s ‘Saaho’ is releasing on August 30, neither of these movies afford to release in the first two weeks of September and hence they have locked the next best date.
 
‘Valmiki’ is a dark comedy set in the backdrop of the mafia and movie industry. ‘Gang Leader’ is a crime comedy.
