The ‘Pushpa’ franchise has transformed the careers of both Allu Arjun and director Sukumar. With this blockbuster saga, Allu Arjun cemented his place as one of the biggest pan-Indian superstars, now eyeing global recognition. Sukumar, on the other hand, has joined the elite league of top Indian filmmakers, being compared to the likes of SS Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel.
For now, both Allu Arjun and Sukumar have moved on to other commitments.
Allu Arjun is busy with Atlee’s sci-fi flick, tentatively titled #AA22xA6, while Sukumar is working on the script of his next film with Ram Charan.
Our sources reveal that despite receiving lucrative offers from Bollywood, Sukumar hasn’t committed to anything beyond Ram Charan’s project. The Ram Charan–Sukumar film is set to go on floors in summer 2026, marking their second collaboration after the blockbuster “Rangasthalam.” The release is planned for late 2027.
After that, Sukumar is expected to take a brief break before moving on to Pushpa 3.
According to sources, both Allu Arjun and Sukumar are keen to conclude the Pushpa saga with a third installment and once again cash in on the franchise craze. Hence, Sukumar will take up Pushpa 3 only after completing Ram Charan’s film.
