Sundeep Kishan confident of scoring a hit with ‘A1 Express’

Sundeep Kishan took a small gap from films. Besides turning producer, he has been busy with his business ventures. On the other hand, he wanted to come out from the regular image and try something different. Attempting a story that has never been done in Telugu cinema would give an advantage, he thought. Thus happened ‘A1 Express’. 

‘A1 Express’ is a sports drama that deals with a hockey game. No Telugu film has touched upon the hockey story. The sports drama releases this Friday (March 5). 

Now that the audiences are embracing new concepts and varied genres, Sundeep Kishan is confident that the film would connect with the audiences. “It was not an easy film to complete but I had enjoyed every bit of the process. Despite hurdles, and lockdown, we could complete it in 45 working days,” he said.

‘A1 Express’ has Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead. She also has played hockey player. Both Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya underwent special training in hockey to enact their roles.
