Suriya, the handsome and popular Tamil film star, celebrates his 49th birthday today. On this day, filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj gave fans a special video from their flick. Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj are teaming up for the first time. This marks Suriya’s 44th film (#Suriya44).
Suriya is introduced as ‘The One’ in the video. The footage shows some henchmen waiting outside the “Royal Estate” resort, then Suriya appears, smoking a cigarette. Suriya is shown in the final shot holding a gun and aiming it at the camera.
The video announces him as The One. The caption reads, “Somewhere in the sea…a love, a laughter, and a war awaits for the One!!”
Pooja Hegde plays the film’s female lead. Santhosh Narayanan, of “Kalki 2898 AD” fame, composes the music. Rajsekhar Pandian of 2D Entertainments is producing the film.
