Konda Surekha, a current minister in Telangana, has publicly apologized to actor Nagarjuna. She shared her apology on social media.
Earlier, while trying to settle political scores with former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), she made some distasteful remarks about Nagarjuna Akkineni. Her previous comments about Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce, made a few months ago, not only created controversy but also prompted Nagarjuna to initiate legal action against her. The defamation case is currently under trial in court.
To avoid further legal complications, Konda Surekha posted a message on her X (formerly Twitter) account last night, expressing her apology to Nagarjuna.
She clarified that her remarks were never intended to hurt or disrespect the star. Surekha expressed regret for the misunderstanding and stated that she withdrew her comments.
Konda Surekha is currently serving as the Minister for Forest, Environment, and Endowments in Revanth Reddy’s cabinet.
