The film “The Raja Saab” was supposed to be released on April 10, 2025, but it has been postponed indefinitely due to Prabhas’ injury and other delays. Despite Prabhas’ recovery from a slight injury, the crew thought they couldn’t reach the April 10 deadline.
The makers of “The Raja Saab” are now looking at a post-summer release date.
The horror comedy has been in development for over three years. Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan had been eagerly awaiting its release for years. This is the only big star film the production house People Media Factory has in its kitty. As a result, the company places high hopes on this.
Initially, there were concerns about whether the content of “The Raja Saab” would appeal to North Indian audiences because it is not a mass actioner. Prabhas had previously achieved successes in Hindi exclusively with big action films. However, the film has received a boost as a result of the current trend of Bollywood horror comedies.
Horror comedies like “Stree 2” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” became major blockbusters in the recent past. “Stree 2” in particular earned more than Rs 600 crore in India. After seeing the results of these two films, North Indian distributors are more confident in “The Raja Saab.” As a result, the film has become a red-hot project. Director Maruthi is the only weak point in this project.
