The shocking postponement of “Akhanda 2” has sparked widespread concern across the Telugu film industry, raising doubts about upcoming big releases. Amid these speculations, rumors surfaced that Prabhas’s much-awaited “The Raja Saab” might also encounter legal and financial obstacles, as Ivy Entertainment reportedly filed a case demanding the clearance of Rs 218 crore.
However, producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory has firmly dismissed such worries.
The film, directed by Maruthi, is slated for a grand theatrical release on January 9, 2025. Addressing the rumors, the producer clarified that all financial matters are under control.
“Regarding The Raja Saab, all raised investments are fully cleared through internal funds, and the remaining interest will be settled shortly — well before business opens,” he stated, assuring fans and distributors that a trouble-free release is guaranteed.
He also condemned the chaos surrounding “Akhanda 2,” noting that such last-minute disruptions seriously impact the livelihoods of thousands working in the industry.
Featuring Prabhas in a role unlike any he has played before, “The Raja Saab” is a horror-comedy co-starring Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhhi Kumar as the female leads. With financial clarity now assured, excitement is building for the big festival release.
