Tovino Thomas has officially put an end to speculation about his involvement in “Dragon, starring NTR, and directed by Prashanth Neel.
Rumors had been circulating that Tovino was roped in to play a key role, reportedly as NTR’s brother in the film. However, the Malayalam star has now clarified that he is not part of the project.
Speaking during a recent visit to Hyderabad for film promotions, Tovino revealed that he couldn’t allocate dates for the big-budget Telugu film. He explained that committing to such a large-scale project would significantly impact his work in Malayalam cinema.
Tovino highlighted the difference in working styles between the two industries. While Malayalam films are typically shot in a single stretch and completed quickly, Telugu big-budget productions often span over a year or more.
According to him, dedicating that much time to one project would mean letting go of multiple Malayalam films. “If I allot dates to one Telugu film for a year, I will have to miss out on four Malayalam projects,” he explained.
With this clarification, it is now confirmed that Tovino Thomas will not be part of Dragon, putting all rumors to rest.
