Lenin moves ahead with promotions amid date confusion

The team of “Lenin” has kickstarted promotions despite fresh uncertainty surrounding release dates of competing films.

Starring Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse, the film was initially scheduled to hit theaters on May 1 but was later postponed to June 26. The makers had cited the need to avoid a box office clash with Ram Charan’s “Peddi,” which was earlier planned for an April 30 release.

However, recent reports suggest that “Peddi” may no longer arrive on that date and could be pushed to June or July, creating fresh speculation about release plans.

Despite these changing dynamics, the “Lenin” team is moving ahead confidently. The makers recently announced that the second single from the film will be released soon, signaling the start of active promotions.

Directed by Kishore Abbor, the film is jointly produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Vamsi. Music is composed by S. Thaman.
