Generally, Telugu films dominate the Tamil movies at the North American box office. But ‘Vikram’ spoiled the prospects of recent Telugu releases. ‘Vikram’ is still running successfully in the US in many locations in its third week. The film grossed $2.6 million so far.
Along with ‘Vikram’, Adivi Sesh’s ‘Major’ was released. After the initial hype, the ‘Major’ film could not gain much. It just collected $1.1 million. On the other hand, Nani’s ‘Ante Sundariniki’ is struggling to touch the $1 million mark.
