The makers of ‘Salaar’ have not yet resumed the shoot after lifting the lockdown. The film is expected to begin its shoot next month. Directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar’ has Shruti Haasan as the main heroine.

The buzz is that the makers are considering roping in a Bollywood heroine for an important role. It will be another female lead. There is no official confirmation yet, but reports say Vaani Kapoor may step in.
Vaani Kapoor is not new to Telugu audiences. The Bollywood actress paired opposite Nani in ‘Aha Kalyanam’.
‘Salaar’ is a gangster drama with plenty of action. Produced by Hombale Films, the film is slated to hit the screens in April 2022.
