Samantha’s new film ‘Yashoda’ is in progress. Although Samantha is resting at home due to ill-health, the shoot is going on. Directed by newcomers Hari and Harish, the film is bankrolled by producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad.
The latest actor to join the cast is Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The Tamil actress is turning busy in Tamil after the successes of ‘Krack’ and ‘Naandi’.
She has joined the shoot.
‘Yashoda’ is a female-centric film and it is Samantha’s first movie as the lead heroine after she got separated from her husband Naga Chaitanya. As she informed earlier, she is continuing to stay in Hyderabad and act in Telugu films.
