Varun Tej has scored another massive flop with “Matka,” which debuted in theaters on November 14. The film turned out to be the lowest ever collected movie in Varun Tej’s career.
Varun Tej was unable to draw in the core audience (mega fans) for this film. With only about Rs 3 crore in its first weekend’s gross, Varun Tej’s career has completely fallen into the doldrums.
His previous flops are “Ghani,” “Gandeevadhari Arjun,” and “Operation Valentine.” Each film was a bigger flop than the others. But “Matka” turned out to be the lowest collected movie. His non-theatrical market also experienced a significant decline.
Varun Tej needs to rethink his choices of scripts to save his career.
