Vijay Deverakonda approached for Lucifer remake?

Ram Charan would have been a perfect choice for a role in the Telugu remake of ‘Lucifer’ which will see Megastar Chiranjeevi essaying the main lead. But Ram Charan has already agreed to essay a guest role in his father’s current film titled ‘Acharya’ being directed by Siva Koratala and it would not make any business sense acting in two consecutive films.

So, Ram Charan is said to have approached Vijay Deverakonda to step in. In the original Malayalam film, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is die-hard fans of Mohanlal, played the role. He appears in the final portion of the movie. Ram Charan wants Vijay Deverakonda to reprise Prithviraj Sukumaran’s role.

We have to see whether Vijay Deverakonda gives his nod to this project or not.

‘Lucifer’ Telugu remake will be directed by ‘Saaho’ fame Sujeeth Reddy. Ram Charan will produce it. The film will start rolling early next year.
