Vishnu to adopt Chittoor Basket Ball team

Sports development demands great amount of inclusiveness and focus on ‘transforming villages into model sport villages by providing all-round infrastructural development along with emphasis on empowerment, these kind of district adoption plan has the potential to transform rural India.

Giving an representation to Mr. P.S. Pradyumna, IAS, District Collector, Chittoor, Actor Vishnu Manchu offered to adopt the districts Mens and Women’s  basketball team and be their mentor, working closely with the district administration.

Being a national level basketball player during his college days, leading the University team and representing India during 1999-2001, Actor Vishnu Manchu himself is passionate about sports . He was involved with many sporting activities over the years and indeed happy to contribute to the development of the team and lend them all support including infra development, financial support to nurture, train and scale up the aspirations of the basketballers from Chittoor district.

The various initiatives that is being aimed to develop and strengthen the Chittoor district basketball team will have an holistic approach that will create lasting impact among the youngsters.
