Waltair Veerayya, the latest film from megastar Chiranjeevi, has also performed well financially in the United States, matching Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Veera Simha Reddy.” Both movies are currently competing with one another for people buying tickets in advance.
While “Veera Simha Reddy” made $125k from presale tickets, “Waltair Veerayya” has so far made $105k. Both of these movies are in great demand.
The only senior Telugu hero with two films that have grossed over $2 million is Chiranjeevi. He is one of the few Indian actors with a significant following in the USA. His “Godfather” and “Acharya,” however, had little effect at the USA bo.
