Will Ram Charan and Buchi Babu reunite for a second film?

Speculation is rife in Tollywood circles about a possible second collaboration between Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana. The duo is currently working on “Peddi,” whose shoot is in its final stages and is slated for release on April 30, 2026.

It had earlier surprised many when Ram Charan agreed to work with Buchi Babu right after the latter’s debut film, “Uppena,” which featured newcomers. However, Charan reportedly trusted the director’s script and instinct, leading to their ongoing collaboration. Promotions for “Peddi” are set to resume soon, with the second single expected to be unveiled shortly.

The latest buzz gained momentum after Ram Charan shared a warm birthday post for Buchi Babu on social media, triggering fan speculation about another project together. While there is no official confirmation, fans believe the actor is highly impressed with the director’s work and may consider teaming up again.

However, even if “Peddi” turns out to be a massive hit, a second film may not materialize anytime soon.

Ram Charan is expected to begin his next project with Sukumar later this year, targeting a release in late 2027. With multiple top directors also in the pipeline, his schedule appears packed for the next few years. Given these commitments, it may be premature to discuss another collaboration with Buchi Babu at this stage.
