Anand Deverakonda’s new film titled “Gam Gam Ganesha” is scheduled for release for 31st of this month. During a recent media interview, he talked about the film.
Gam Gam Ganesha and crime comedies
I was given the script for ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’ around the same time ‘Baby’ was pitched. I was intrigued by the script synopsis provided by director Uday Shetty, which encompassed the themes of greed, fear, and conspiracy. As I have a penchant for watching crime comedies such as ‘Swamy Rara,’ I went for it.
The story centers on the idol of Lord Ganesha. Multiple characters strive to acquire the idol, each harboring malicious intentions. The film delves into the themes of fear, greed, and conspiracy.
Hero-centric story
I was consistently questioned about my avoidance of hero-centric films. After reading the story of ‘Gam Gam Ganesha,’ I gained the confidence that I can pull this hero-driven story. In contrast to my previous portrayal as the ‘boy next door’, in this film, I exhibit a vibrant and lively demeanor, engage in comedic acts, display emotional vulnerability when necessary, and exude a hyperactive energy.
No love triangle
Pragathi Srivastava and Nayan Sarika are the two heroines in our film. Both of them played important roles and performed admirably. Despite the presence of two heroines, “Gam Gam Ganesha” does not revolve around a love triangle plot. Producers Kedar and Vamsi, who are my friends, provided significant support to this film.
Rashmika is family friend
Rashmika is our family friend. During the pre-release event, our intention was to generate widespread attention and popularity for our casual conversation.
