Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ was released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in a big way. Telugu and Hindi versions are screened across the two states. The film recorded Rs 5.80 Crore nett on the first day.
The previous highest collection for a Hindi film on the first day in Telugu states was Aamir Khan’s ‘Dhoom 3’. The Aamir Khan starrer collected Rs 3.85 Crore, while ‘Brahmastra’ opened to the collection of Rs 5.80 Cr.
‘Brahmastra’ was promoted by Rajamouli. The film’s team also extensively did promotions in AP and Telangana. So, the hype and publicity helped it very much.
At the USA box office, the film grossed $1.85 million. ‘Brahmastra’ was directed by Ayan Mukherji. The film is a graphical extravaganza.
