Popular actress Ritu Varma is foraying into digital space. The trailer for her first web series, “Devika & Danny,” dropped today. Starring Ritu Varma as Devika and Surya Vasistta as Danny, the trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into a story blending romance, comedy, and thrilling suspense.
The series will stream on Jio Hotstar from June 6, 2025, and it marks Ritu Varma’s first Telugu web series.
The trailer introduces Devika, a middle-class music teacher who leads a predictable life, only to have her world upended by the charismatic Danny.
Packed with fun and family moments, the trailer hints at hidden truths and a fortune-telling. The trailer also showcases Subbaraj’s marriage getting fixed with Devia. “Devika & Danny” also hints about action with a lady villain taking center stage.
Directed by B. Kishore, known for Sreekaram, and produced by Sudhakar Chaganti under Joy Films, the series boasts a talented ensemble, including Shiva Kandukuri, Kovai Sarala, Sonia Singh, and Viva Harsha.
