Veteran comedian Brahmanandam is called ‘Haasya Brahma’. In his upcoming movie ‘Panchathantram’, he will appear as ‘Katha Brahma’, the father of stories. He is playing the role of Veda Vyas, a retired All India Radio presenter.
On the occasion of his birthday today, the team unveiled a video glimpse about his character. Swathi Reddy plays his daughter. When he attends a competition, he gets eliminated and his daughter wonders who would listen to his old stories? He quips, “why should not one begin a career at 60.”

Also starring Swathi Reddy, Shivathmika Rajasekhar, Samuthirakani, Rahul Vijay, and Naresh Agasthya, ‘Panchathantram’ is written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka. Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu are producing it.
