One of the most-awaited films of this season is Nani starrer ‘Shyam Singha Roy’. Nani’s fans have a lot to be excited about for this film after the film’s trailer was dropped on Tuesday night. The trailer promises an exciting spectacle.
Nani has appeared in two different roles. There is a complete contrast in the two roles of Nani.
The trailer begins with Vasu (Nani), a film director, and his romance with his girlfriend (Krithi Shetty). Madonna Sebastian appears as a lawyer. The setting is in today’s times. The story then moves backward to Culcutta of the bygone era, when a Devadasi (Sai Pallavi) and her bonding with the local leader Shyam Singha Roy (Nani). The film seems to be all about the connection between these two stories.
The visuals look grand.
Besides Sai Pallavi, the movie also stars Madonna Sebastian and Krithi Shetty as the female lead actors. Krithi Shetty appears in a modern avatar, quite contrast to her debut film, Uppena.
Produced by Venkat Boyinapalli, ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is directed by Rahul Sankritiyan of ‘Taxiwaala’ fame. The film releases in theatres on November 24 in all South Indian languages – Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.
