Rukmini Vasanth has landed the biggest film of her career so far. The Kannada actress has been cast opposite NTR in director Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film, tentatively titled “Dragon.”
Despite Neel’s confirmation of the role, there has been no official announcement yet. Rukmini is eagerly awaiting the confirmation, along with the opportunity to begin shooting.
She rose to fame with her Kannada films “Side A Side B” and “Bagheera.” In Telugu, she made her debut opposite Nikhil Siddharth in “Appudo Ippudo Eppudo,” though the film didn’t perform well.
However, this NTR starrer has the potential to change her career and create significant opportunities in Telugu cinema.
Meanwhile, NTR has undergone a dramatic transformation, achieving a lean and chiseled look to fit Prashanth Neel’s vision for the film. While the director has already begun shooting key sequences with supporting actors, NTR is expected to join the sets in the last week of April.
