BO: ‘Paarijatha Parvam’ and others sink without trace

The summer of 2024 is turning out to be a dull show at the box office. Another weekend saw empty theaters for new releases.

Last weekend, films such as “Paarijatha Parvam,” “Tenent,” and “Theppa Samudram” debuted in theaters. Neither of them registered collections during the first weekend. No film received any openings on the first day. The same dull show continued over the weekend.

With IPL matches becoming more interesting, audiences are less likely to watch these films that lack star power or compelling narration.

Even “Tillu Square” ran out of steam. At the moment, there is no film that is captivating audiences.
