Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati have collaborated three times, and their third project, “Akhanda,” was the biggest hit of their careers. The film will now get a sequel.
“Akhanda 2” will have a formal launch or announcement in June, but regular shooting will begin in September. Boyapati Sreenu is currently finalizing the script. Balakrishna will play two different roles in the film.
Balakrishna has halted all movie-related activities and is now campaigning for his Telugu Desam party. He is also running in the assembly elections from the Hindupur constituency, and he is confident of being elected for the third time.
After the elections, he will resume work on #NBK109, which is directed by Bobby. The film is expected to be released in October.
