The last weekend saw releases of five films, notable among them are Sridevi Soda Center and ‘Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu.’ Sudheer Babu starrer ‘Sridevi Soda Center’ hyped up a lot with Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and other stars rallying behind it.
The producers also made lofty statements. But the response at the box office has been lukewarm. The film was snapped up by distributor Lakshman for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However, the weekend collections are dull. Though it performed better among all the movies in the theaters, the weekend numbers are too low.
The film reportedly did Rs 8 crore theatrical business before the release. The current trend shows it may not recover 50 percent of the business.
