Day 1: ‘Bro’ takes good opening at the box office

“Bro,” starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, received mixed reviews. The majority of critics rated it as average to subpar.

Despite such reviews and mixed reactions, “Bro” had a very strong opening weekend in Andhra Pradesh. Rs 1.03 crore share came from Krishna district on the first day.

In Telangana, the film did well in multiplexes in Hyderabad, but it did poorly in the rest of the state due to the incessant rains.

Overall, given that the film is not a full-fledged commercial, it has done well.

In the United States, “Bro” grossed more than $800 on its first day (premiere shows average $647K). It’s a good start in the United States.

“Bro” is a remake of the Tamil film “Vinodaya Sitham” directed by Samuthirakani.
