Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’ has finally locked its release date. The film will hit the screens on December 2nd. An official announcement will be made in a day or two. The December release schedule begins with this film.
‘Akhanda’ has successfully created hype with its teasers and songs. Directed by Boyapati Srinivas, the action drama has Balakrishna playing a dual role and Pragya Jaiswal as the heroine.
Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ which has changed its release dates numerous times gets postponed again. The boxing drama will release on December 9th instead of December 3rd. Directed by a newcomer, the boxing film has failed to create hype so far.
The biggest of them all is Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa The Rise’. The first part of the two-part biggie will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on December 17th. Allu Arjun is banking heavily on this project as he believes it would propel him to the pan-India star status. Directed by Sukumar, the action drama’s shoot is in the final stage.
Nani’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is another notable movie that will hit the screens this December. Directed by Rahul Sankritiyan, SSR has Nani playing a dual role and three leading ladies – Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian, and Krithi Shetty. The makers have just started the promotions. It is yet to gain a big buzz.
As of now, these four films will fight at the box office, each one having a gap of one week for release.
