Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ has passed the crucial Monday test at the box office. Given the film’s content, many believed it might see a big fall on Monday. But the film saw a stronghold in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The Telugu version is now comfortably placed to become a super hit.
Hyped figures for the Hindi version aside, the film in North India saw its grip at ticket windows on Monday. So, the film is now looking to garner impressive numbers for the Hindi version. Of course, the so-called trade pundits of Bollywood are posting bloated numbers.
The Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions have seen a fall.
Directed by Rajamouli, ‘RRR’ is an action drama. The film relied on crowd-pleasing moments. Despite having many loopholes in the plot and a weak narrative, the audience seems to have more impressed with the glitzy package.
