The movie “Skanda” is being marketed as a pan-Indian production, so it will be shown in all five Indian languages. Previous Boyapati film “Akhanda” garnered record views on Hotstar. That’s why a hefty sum was paid for this movie. On the other hand, the Hindi dubbing market for Ram Pothineni’s has consistently been strong.

The theatrical deals are also good but with “Warriorr” and “Custody” having been critical and commercial failures for the producer in the past, he may suffer some in theatrical deals. Overall, Srinivasaa Chitturi, the producer, is making big money even before the film is released.

The “Skanda” trailer was a hit, and the film will feature Ram Pothineni as a hulking hero who fights bad guys. The leading lady is Sreeleela. Thaman’s music, however, didn’t make much impression as of now.
