If everything goes as planned, Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ can be the first big release in the theaters post the extended lockdown. Theaters have remained shut in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the past seven months due to the corona outbreak.
However, a multiplex chain and a single screen in Vizag resumed the operations by running the old movie ‘Bheeshma’. All theaters might reopen in November or December in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
To gain the advantage of the first big release, ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ has completed its censor formalities as well. The Sai Dharam Tej starrer has obtained a U certificate, indicating the film has skipped its OTT release plans and will hit the screens.
The makers say the film will release in the theaters soon. The exact release date has not yet been decided. It is looking at the December release.
Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh are the lead pair in this romantic drama directed by newcomer Subbu. BVSN Prasad is producing it. Thaman has given the music. The film’s theatrical, digital, satellite and OTT rights have been snapped up by ZEE TV group.
