‘7G Brindavan Colony’, produced by A.M. Rathnam and directed by Selvaraghavan, was one of the cult hits in the early 2000s. The film launched the careers of Ravi Krishna and Sonia Agarwal. Twenty years later, the film is getting its second part. The sequel, “7G Brindavan Colony 2,” is in the final stages of shooting.
Directed by Selvaraghavan, the film showcases Ravi Krishna reprising his career-defining role, alongside Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan as the female protagonist.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, who provided popular compositions for the original film, will handle the music as well.
Regarding the film, producer A.M. Rathnam remarked, “The original ‘7G Brindavan Colony 2’ is a film that resonated emotionally and occupies a significant position in the annals of Tamil cinema. With the sequel, we intend to replicate that enchantment while providing a novel and engaging tale for the contemporary audience.”
