Suriya turned 45 today. The superstar’s new film, Aakasam Nee Haddhura, has been stuck at the labs due to coronavirus pandemic. There were rumors that the film may go for direct-digital release skipping the theatrical window but the latest reports say the movie has been pushed to January 2021.
On the occasion of Suriya’s birthday, a video song promo has been released.
Directed by Sudha Kongara of ‘Guru’ fame, the biopic is set for simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu languages. The film is based on the life of GR Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan.
Suriya has been struggling to deliver a mass hit. ‘NGK’ and ‘Bandobast’ were disasters at the box-office.
