Actor Pradeep Shakti, known for his impeccable negative roles in many movies in 1980’s, is no more. Suffering from illness for some years, Pradeep Shakti (60) breathed his last on Saturday in New York.
He had played villain characters and comedy roles in many movies that include ‘Ladies Tailor’, Manirathnam’s ‘Nayakudu’, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Guna’ etc.He was survived by wife. Born as Raja Vasireddy in Guntur, he migrated to USA in late 90’s and started restaurants there. Dil Raju produced Harish Shankar directed ‘Subramanyam for Sale’ was his last movie.
He was regular actor in director Vamsi’s movies – April 1st Vidudhala, Chettu Kinda Pleader, Aalaapana.
