Actress Hema sent to 14 days’ judicial custody

A Bengaluru court on Monday sent actress Hema to 14 days’ judicial remand. The police arrested her for co-organizing a rave party in Bengaluru last month and providing false information.

On Monday afternoon, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru arrested actress Hema. She appeared before CCB wearing a burqa. She tried to conceal her identity from the media by attending the medical examination in Burqa.

She was presented before Anekal fourth magistrate court. The judge sentenced her to 14 days of judicial remand.

Hema also deceived the police by disclosing a different name and also uploaded a video claiming she wasn’t at the rave party last month. 86 out of 103 attendees tested positive for drug consumption.
