The success of the “Dhurandhar” franchise has put director Aditya Dhar in the top league of filmmakers. With the two films in the franchise reportedly grossing a combined Rs 3,000 crore worldwide, he has become one of the most sought-after directors in the industry.
Aditya Dhar is now said to be planning his next project. In this backdrop, his recent meeting with Prabhas has sparked speculation in film circles.
According to industry buzz, Aditya Dhar met Prabhas privately and the two had a lengthy discussion. However, it remains unclear whether the meeting was related to a potential collaboration or merely an informal interaction.
Even if Aditya Dhar is keen on directing Prabhas, the star’s packed schedule could be a major hurdle. Prabhas is currently juggling multiple big-budget projects and is unlikely to take up a new film immediately.
He is expected to complete work on “Fauji” this year while simultaneously shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit.” Next year, his focus is likely to shift to completing “Kalki 2.” Apart from these commitments, “Salaar 2” is also in the pipeline.
Given this lineup, any potential collaboration between Aditya Dhar and Prabhas may have to wait for at least another couple of years. For now, the meeting has only fueled speculation, with no official confirmation from either side.
