Aishwarya Rajesh is not only a talented actress but also someone with notable successes to her credit. She played the female lead in last year’s second-biggest blockbuster, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which went on to gross close to Rs 250 crore worldwide.
Paired opposite Venkatesh in the film, Aishwarya had hoped that the massive commercial success would open up more doors for her in Telugu cinema. She expected offers opposite senior stars, if not the top-tier heroes. However, nearly a year has passed, and she has received only one Telugu offer, that too opposite young actor Thiru Veer.
In a recent interview, the actress expressed her disappointment over the lack of opportunities.
“I thought I would get more offers from leading stars. Probably the top actors and directors still have doubts about my capabilities,” she said candidly.
