Ajith Kumar’s film faces plagarism issues

The upcoming Sankranthi 2025 festival will see the release of Ajith Kumar’s Tamil movie “Vidaamuyarchi”. In Telugu, it is being dubbed with the same name.

The action drama, which also features Trisha Krishnan as Ajith Kumar’s wife, is currently facing difficulties due to accusations of plagiarism.

The rumor is that a Hollywood studio sent notices to the makers of “Vidaamuyarchi” for copying the plot of one of their productions, Breakdown (1997). Both narratives are identical: A married couple embarks on a journey, but the situation escalates when the wife is abducted, compelling the husband to seek and rescue her.

Magizh Thirumeni directs the film, while Lyca Productions produces it. Arjun and Regina Cassandra play negative roles.
