Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu are reuniting for their fourth collaboration: “Akhanda 2 Thaandavam.” The sequel to “Akhanda” is being produced on a lavish scale by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under 14 Reels Plus banner. The film is presented by Balakrishna’s younger daughter M. Tejaswini Nandamuri.
Ahead of Balakrishna’s birthday, the makers have announced a double treat: Akhanda 2’s first look and teaser will be unveiled on June 9.
The film’s shoot is progressing on schedule. Samyuktha stars as the female lead, while Aadhi Pinisetty will be seen in a powerful, intense role. Pragya Jaiswal reprises her role.
“Akhanda 2” will S Thaman returning to deliver a pulsating score and C Ramprasad handling the cinematography. The team reiterated its release date as September 25.
