All friendship and comradery in the film industry is fleeting. If a film is successful, the hero, director, and producer maintain their friendship. They will avoid meeting each other if the film is a box office flop.
The recent massive failure of “Agent” is one example.
Surender Reddy directed the spy thriller. It was a muddled story. However, prior to the film’s release, Akhil Akkineni praised the director. Since the film’s failure, things have changed.
Akhil Akkineni has written a message to his fans saying that the film was not translated as they had hoped.
He did, however, thank producer Anil Sunkara for being his biggest support system. He made no mention of Surender Reddy. It was clear that he blames the director for the film’s failure.
Akhil Akkineni will soon begin work on a new film directed by a debutant. The film will be bankrolled by UV Creations.
