Akhil second movie as Christmas special

Akhil Akkineni’s second film as hero is progressing under the direction of Vikram Kumar of ‘Manam’, ’24’ and ‘Ishq’ fame. Akhil’s father and producer of the movie Nagarjuna who watched the rushes of the movie is very content with the output. He said that he is extremely confident about this film.

He also has locked December 22nd as its release date as he considers December as his lucky month. Many of his movies releasing during December went on to become blockbusters. So, he has chosen Christmas holiday period for his son. He tweeted: “Saw a bit of akhil’s film by annapurna studios..Vikram & Vinod weave their magic again!!planning to release it in my fav month/December 22.” Akhil’s debut film was a disaster.

The current film being made by Vikram Kumar introduces Kalyani, daughter of director Priyadarshan and actress Lissy, as female lead. ‘Malli Kaluddam’ and ‘Ekkada Ekkada Undo Taraka’ are the titles being considered for it.
