Alia Bhatt and her husband Ranbir Kapoor are soon to move into their lavish new bungalow in Mumbai, built on the iconic Krishna Raj property that once belonged to Ranbir’s grandfather, Raj Kapoor.
The six-storey residence, named Krishna Raj, is nearing completion, and the family is expected to perform a griha pravesh with their daughter Raha soon.
However, Alia is upset after photos and videos of the under-construction house recently went viral on social media. Taking to Instagram, she condemned the act, calling it an invasion of privacy.
She wrote, “I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited – sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences and push those videos online. A video from our home – still under construction – has been recorded and circulated by multiple publications, without our knowledge or consent.”
Alia’s firm response has reignited the discussion on celebrity privacy.
