Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai’ to release on Feb 25

Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ has finally announced its new release date. The film will hit theaters on February 25, 2022.

The Delhi and Tamilnadu state governments have lifted the night curfew. Despite the rise in COVID-19 cases, the situation is under control, the hospital admissions are on the lower side. Precisely for this reason, governments are lifting restrictions. So, Bollywood biggies are readying for theatrical releases.

‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ was to hit the theaters on 6th January 2022 but it got postponed due to avoid competition with Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, which was then to hit the theaters on 7th January. Now, director and producer Sanjay Bhansali has decided to go ahead with the film’s theatrical release.

Alia Bhatt plays the titular character. The film will also be released in Telugu simultaneously.
