Amid criticism, Sreeleela opens up hero ‘size zero’ look

Actress Sreeleela has been facing criticism for her noticeably slimmer appearance in her latest film, “Mass Jathara.” Many fans felt her lean look as Tulasi didn’t quite suit her usual vibrant screen presence. She played Tulasi, a girl in love with Ravi Teja’s character in the film, that hit theaters last Friday.

The actress, however, clarified that her transformation was the result of a special diet plan she followed for general fitness, not for any Bollywood ambitions, as some reports claimed.

“I didn’t lose weight for Hindi projects. I just wanted to focus on my health and maintain better fitness,” Sreeleela explained in a recent interview.

She also shared her dream of working with Ram Charan and NTR, saying it would be an exciting milestone in her career.

On the work front, Sreeleela will next be seen in the Tamil film “Parasakthi,” which is set for a January 2026 release.
