Prime Minister Narendra Modi today urged people to light lamps and turn on mobile flashlights at 9 pm on Sunday, April 5.
After Janta curfew, this is the second collective gesture that PM Modi has called for. But this message didn’t go with the majority of the Indians. People are trolling heavily. Instead of announcing some action plan, Modi is indulging in theatrics is what trollers say.
Chiranjeevi tweeted, “On #5thApr20 @9 PM for 9 minutes, respecting our beloved PM’s call, let us all light lamps to drive away the darkness and gloom of #Corona Let’s stand for our country and let’s reiterate that we stand for each other!”
Actor Rajasekhar urged the people to show their solidary on April 5th by tweeting, “Together on Sunday at 9pm but please let us not burst fireworks.. Let’s peacefuly light candles and spread positivity.”
